Global medal personalisation leaders, iTAB, are delighted to celebrate 12-years of business this week. The organically grown company, situated on an idyllic farm in Mortimer, has become an integral part of the running world and now partners with over 500 races across the globe – including Chicago Marathon, LA Marathon, Canada Running Series and City2Surf in Australia. And on a more local level – The Great Run Company, London Landmarks Half Marathon, Reading Half and Henley Swim Festival.

Managing Director, Ceri Philpott says: “We are incredibly proud to work with some of the most prestigious races in the world and the nicest of people too! It is a hugely exciting time for us as we continue to expand and work with exciting new race partners.”

Like many great ideas, the idea for iTAB was born in a pub! Directors and co-founders Ceri Philpott and Kevin Lewis had just completed Ironman UK and were celebrating their well-earned medal with a pint. It dawned on them both that, after six months of training, their finisher experience would have been enhanced greatly if the medal was personalised with their name and finish time.

Working with iTAB is a very straight-forward process and a great opportunity to enhance participants race experience, whilst the race earns commission for every iTAB sold. The iTAB team provide full marketing support and can liaise with medal manufacturers and timers direct, so race directors can relax and focus on organising the event.

Looking to the future, iTAB are focused on continued growth and are exploring different materials and designs to offer partners even more choice.

Production Director, Kevin Lewis, comments: “From humble beginnings, it’s been an amazing 12-year journey. Thank you to everyone in the team for their hard work and here’s to the next chapter!”
