We are thrilled to announce that the Mapledurham 10 mile & 10k finished Top 10 in the ‘Best 10k Runs’ (South category) of the Challenge Awards presented by Runners World and powered by Let’s Do This

The Challenge Awards aims to recognise the best challenge events, organisation, charities, communities and individuals over the 2018/19 season. Nominee events were selected after being ranked based on quality and quantity of reviews; and then presented to the public where votes were cast to select the winners. More than 86,000 people voted in the Challenge Awards, making the achievement even more rewarding.

Olly Arnott at Let’s Do This said: “We have been delighted by the efforts made in promoting nominations and the uptake from the general public has been immense. The Mapledurham 10 mile & 10k finishing in the Top 10 of its category is testament to the great organisation, the tough yet rewarding course, and the fantastic atmosphere at the finish line.”

The Challenge Awards is supported and attended by the most decorated sports women and men in the UK, from Paralympic gold medalists Sarah Storey and Tanni Grey-Thompson; to former marathon world champion Paula Radcliffe and international rugby and football stars Lawrence Dallaglio and Rio Ferdinand.
