Empowering Causes: iTAB’s Impactful Partnerships with Charities in 2023

By 6th December 2023No Comments

iTAB has recently forged partnerships with three esteemed charities in 2023: Age UK, MacMillan Cancer Support, and The DONNA Foundation.

Age UK, renowned for organizing the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k, directs funds raised toward providing expert advice, practical support, companionship, and advocacy for older individuals. Participating in events like this ensures that Age UK can continue its crucial mission.

MacMillan Cancer Support coordinates various outdoor activities and offers charity spots in major events, providing runners with an opportunity to raise funds for their chosen causes while promoting physical activity.

The DONNA Foundation is committed to offering financial assistance and emotional support to individuals battling breast cancer. Additionally, they fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and organize the annual DONNA Marathon Weekend, a multi-event extravaganza including a 5K, DONNA Dash, Half Marathon, Marathon, Ultramarathon, Event Challenges, and Health & Wellness Expo. This marathon weekend, in its 17th year, stands as the sole marathon in the US dedicated to breast cancer research and care.

iTAB is proud to expand its collaboration with these charitable organizations, adding to existing partnerships with Tommy’s, the UK’s largest pregnancy and baby loss charity that have raised £43m through its London Landmarks events, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, focused on treating challenging childhood cancers and pediatric diseases; and The McCourt Foundation, dedicated to improving the lives of patients and families impacted by neurology-related health challenges.

iTAB provides an array of packages and incentives tailored for our event charity partners, offering additional value and incentives for participants running in support of noble causes. Personalized medals serve as a meaningful and unique way to commemorate the experience of running for charity, adding an extra layer of significance to the memory.

The integral role of charity fundraising in events cannot be overstated. An estimated five million Britons participated in charity runs in the past year, raising an average of £280 each. This aligns with iTAB’s commitment to supporting fundraising events that make a meaningful impact on lives globally. As we continue to grow our charity partnerships, iTAB remains dedicated to contributing to positive change through the power of running.
